TJP Cloud: your MetaTrader terminal, run by us
TJP Cloud starts a real MetaTrader 5 terminal for your account on our own servers and keeps it running. You only enter your broker login — no other provider account, API key or VPS. The copier, journal and your own code (through the TJP Cloud API) all use that terminal.
During the beta
Only demo accounts can open trades. Closing and changing existing trades always works. Live accounts can be connected and read, and open trades once the beta ends. Stops and targets are sent to the broker (hidden SL/TP is not available yet).
Connect
- Open Cloud → Connect Account → TJP Cloud.
- Enter the MT5 account number, the trading password (an investor password also connects, read-only: journal and data, no trades) and the exact server name from MetaTrader (File → Open an Account, or the login window), for example
ICMarketsSC-Demo. - Your terminal starts and logs in, usually within 1–3 minutes. The account card shows “Starting”, then “Connected”.
- Map symbols and set up your channels as for any Cloud account, then verify an entry, SL/TP changes and a close on the demo.
What the account card tells you
- Starting: the terminal is being started on a server and is logging in.
- Connected: logged in at your broker; trades can be placed.
- Not connected to your broker: the terminal runs but the broker server is unreachable. It reconnects by itself; after a long outage the terminal is restarted.
- Stopped — the broker refused the login: wrong password, server or account number. We stop at once instead of retrying, because brokers lock accounts after repeated failed logins. Use Update login on the card to start again.
- Stopped after errors: the terminal kept failing; it is not restarted again until you update the login (which retries from scratch). Contact support if it repeats.
Security
- Your password travels over HTTPS to our website, which at once seals it with a public key whose private half exists only on our terminal servers. The website and the database keep only the sealed form and cannot read it back.
- On the terminal server the password is kept in memory-backed storage (never written to disk) and given only to your terminal. Each terminal runs isolated, with no access to other customers’ terminals.
- Your terminal talks to our gateway with its own secret token; nobody else can impersonate it.
- Disconnecting the account removes the terminal and its data from our servers. Open positions at your broker are not closed by disconnecting.
Coverage
- Market, limit and stop orders with expiry; TP1–TP10 split; SL/TP changes and removal; partial and full close; pending order moves and cancels.
- The terminal reports tick size and tick value, so risk-based lots, breakeven and trailing work.
- Price history (candles) for replay and the backtester; full deal history for the journal (deposits and charges are kept out of trading P&L).
- Hedging and netting accounts. On netting accounts a partial close is a smaller opposite deal; your stop and target are kept.
- Not yet: MetaTrader 4 and hidden SL/TP.
TJP Cloud is in beta. Automated tests cover the gateway, terminal bridge and orchestration; each broker should still be verified on a demo. Trading involves risk.
