Connect your MetaApi account

Cloud execution runs your trades 24/7 with no PC or VPS. It runs on your own MetaApi account — you create a free MetaApi account, add a payment method there, and paste your token into TradeJournal Pro. You pay MetaApi directly for usage(a few dollars per account/month), and our Cloud price stays low because we don't resell the execution.

Why this way? It keeps Cloud cheap and transparent — you only ever pay MetaApi for what you actually use, and your broker credentials live on a regulated, dedicated execution provider. One MetaApi token covers all your cloud broker accounts.

Create a free MetaApi account

Go to app.metaapi.cloud/sign-up and sign up (email + password). It's free to create.

Add a payment method (MetaApi billing)

In the MetaApi dashboard → Billing, add a card. MetaApi bills you per connected account (roughly a few $/account/month). There's a free tier for testing on demo accounts.

Generate an API token

In MetaApi → Tokens (or “API access token”) → Generate token.

Choose a token with trading + account management access. Copy the long token string (it starts with a long random string / JWT).

Paste the token into TradeJournal Pro

In the Signal Copier → connect a Cloud account → paste your MetaApi token in the “Your MetaApi token” field and save. We store it encrypted and only use it to run your accounts.

Connect your broker

Now add your broker account (login, password — use the trading password, not investor — and server name). We provision it on your MetaApi account and start copying signals.

Symbol prefixes/suffixes are auto-detected. You're live.

FAQ

How much does MetaApi cost me?

MetaApi bills per connected account — typically a few dollars per account per month, billed by MetaApi (not us). Demo accounts are cheap/free for testing. Check metaapi.cloud pricing.

Is my token safe?

Yes — it's encrypted at rest (AES-256) and only used to run your own accounts. You can remove it any time, which stops cloud execution.
